Retracting Slideout with water leaking
Would like comments if anyone has had this happen and what they do,
When retracting my slide out the water in the topper ( even when I slowly retract and let water come out ) still comes down the inner side onto my rug. I've tried everything from tilting the trailer first and than slowly letting all water out while retracting, it still get rug wet. Would like opinions and ideas.

Front Adjustable Stablizer
I have just taken delivery of a 2009 Mobile Suites 36 foot ( weight 17,500 )and had before purchased a front pin stablizer, now looking at the unit the distance from the ground to the pin is very short. Any comments before I take it out of the box about if it will fit or do I really need one.

Ford F-450 Protector Shield
I have a 2008 F-450 and looking for a bug protector, I have seen a plastic type installed on new class C units in showroom, It looks like a 3MM Plastic shield like they put on new cars, anyone have ideas where to get this type, It looks better than a bud shield and does provide protection to plaint surface.

Looking for a locking Fuel Cap for 2008 Ford Diesel F450, cannot find one, Check my Ford dealership and they don't carry it, any ideas where I can get one.

Advice on Fifth Wheel Hitches
Have just purchased a Mobile Suites with weight of appox 16,900 and looking at a Fifth wheel hitch of 20K limit......
Looking for advice on what manufacturer and or type to get, any opinions out there on a good/excellent hitch.

Diesel Generators
On Fifth Wheel trailers that have a diesel generator where would the fuel tank be located and if outside what would be used to supply fuel to generator. I have heard that no fuel container can be put in the fifith wheel ? Any comments on where and opinions.
I given up on LP generator as the costis getting to high for what its efficency is.

Gas Mileage
Looking at buying a 2008 Ford F350 or 450, Power Stroke Diesel with auto trans, 4x4 or 4x2, would like opinions on gas mileage both non pulling and pulling a fifth wheel.. General opinions on vechicle in general also..

TV Confusion
I am looking to buy a Mobile Suites or Carriage with GVW in the area of 18,500 Lbs.
I have read all the literature on both Ford F350/450 and GM HD3500.
The confusing point is that I have been watching tow vehicles towing larger units and see them with HD 3500 and F350 with unit weights at 18,500 to 19,000 lbs, and seem to be Ok, some with new and some with older trucks.
I would like to stay with the F350 or HD 3500 but confused with literatrue from Manufacturers with their weights factors.
I understand about the axle ration but the weight diffence between Ford and GM does not seem realistic.. Any Comments on weights and type, Thanks

Generator, LP or Diesel
Looking at getting a fifth wheel with generator, would like your opinions on LP vs Diesel Gen
1. Which would be more efficient?
2. Which is more quiet
3. Does the LP have another supply or does it come from onboard bottles
Any other comments you may have..
